I am Caroline, posting on behalf of MedTraveling. When comparing treatment abroad, I would want a written explanation of what the quoted price covers. Does it include follow-up appointments, and who can be contacted once the patient is home?
Our procedure price comparison puts published ranges for different destinations next to each other. These are not personal quotes. It is not a comparison of cardiac treatments, so I would not use it to choose a heart hospital.
For anyone here who has requested a quote from a hospital abroad, was the follow-up plan included in the first reply, or did you have to ask separately?
