We all want what’s best for our children. As parents we feel their pain and revel in their happiness. However, from time to time, we are faced with burdensome decisions concerning their wellbeing. One of these is the question of vaccination.
Some will say there IS no question… we simply follow the recommendations. Certainly, there is a resounding call from the medical community for parents to conform. Vaccination is paraded as medicine’s great success story, having brought about an end (so we’re told) to some of the great scourges of the past.
Still, not all support it. Those who oppose vaccination have some very important information to tell you. Information which is never passed on by health officials or doctors when they are busy promoting vaccination.
Let me introduce myself. I am the author of the book Vaccination – a Parent’s Dilemma, first published in 1997. I started as one of the many parents who search further than the doctor’s waiting room for the best answer. My search took me much further than I had anticipated.
