Telomerase is een enzym dat zorgt dat je telomeren lang blijven.
Als telomerase (wat in elke cel zit) niet actief is, worden de telomeren korter en verouder je sneller, maar je kunt er zelf iets tegen doen.......

Nutrienten die telomerase activeren zijn bv omega 3. en vitaminen (B12 , C en E en vitamine D).

En als laatste, maar niet minder belangrijk: vitamine D.... dat heet nu de zonneschijnvitamine maar het kan ook de telomeren- vitamine gaan heten:
